Refund Policy

1. Overview

AnsChat provides AI chatbot software products and optional related professional implementation services. This Refund Policy explains billing, cancellation, and refund eligibility for both our software subscriptions and our professional services.

2. Software Subscriptions

2.1 Billing & Cancellation

AnsChat offers a 7-day free trial before any paid charge is required. When you upgrade to a paid Growth subscription, billing is processed by Dodo Payments and your subscription renews automatically every month until canceled. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard to prevent future automatic charges. If you cancel, your paid access remains active until the end of the current paid period.

2.2 Refund Eligibility Windows

Eligible software charges may be refunded without additional justification.

  • Within 48 hours of a paid upgrade or renewal: a charge is refundable if you request the refund within 48 hours and your usage since that charge is below 10% of the included monthly allocation.
  • Within 7 calendar days of a paid upgrade or renewal: a charge is refundable if no meaningful platform resources have been used after the charge. This includes zero billed message usage and no material consumption of storage, website-page capacity, or other metered product resources.

2.3 Evaluation of Software Usage

Refund eligibility is measured from the time of the most recent paid charge. AnsChat may review product usage including message volume, storage consumed, website pages processed, bots created, and similar metered activity to verify whether the 10% threshold or zero-usage condition has been exceeded.

2.4 Non-Refundable Situations

  • Refund requests submitted after the 48-hour or 7-day eligibility windows described above.
  • Charges where usage after the charge exceeds 10% of the included monthly allocation.
  • Charges where any material platform resources were used and the request is made after 48 hours.
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse, or Terms violations.
  • Fees, taxes, or amounts that are non-refundable under applicable law or imposed by third parties.

Except where required by law, software refund requests outside these rules will be denied.

3. Professional Services

Professional services are custom work performed specifically for a customer and may become non-refundable once work has commenced or milestones have been completed.

Refund requests for professional services are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

4. How To Request a Refund

Email [email protected] from the billing email address on your account and include your account email, charge date, and refund request. If your request is eligible, the refund will be processed back to the original payment method through Dodo Payments.
