1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using AnsChat ("Service," "Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AnsChat.
2. Description of Service
AnsChat is an AI-powered chatbot platform that enables businesses to create, deploy, and manage intelligent chatbots. Our Service allows you to upload content to train your custom chatbot.
3. AI Services & Liability
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING AI OUTPUTS
AnsChat uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. AI models can occasionally produce incorrect, misleading, or offensive content (hallucinations).
3.1 No Professional Advice
The Service is not intended to provide professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. You should verify all AI-generated information before relying on it or presenting it to your customers.
3.2 User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- Reviewing and correcting AI-generated responses.
- Ensuring your chatbots do not violate any laws or third-party rights.
- Disclosing to your end-users that they are interacting with an AI.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Generate or disseminate hate speech, harassment, or violent content.
- Upload confidential or sensitive personal data (health, financial, government IDs) unless strictly necessary and with appropriate safeguards.
- Deceive users or engage in fraud.
- Reverse engineer, probe, or attack the Service infrastructure.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
5. Privacy and Data Usage
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- We process your data and your end-users' data as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We use third-party AI providers (Subprocessors) to generate responses.
- You have obtained all necessary consents from your end-users to process their data via AnsChat.
6. Subscription & Billing
6.1 Free Trial
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with access to Growth plan features. No payment information is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, access to the dashboard and all chatbot functionality will be suspended until a paid subscription is activated.
6.2 Payments
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as Merchant of Record. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring monthly billing until you cancel. Discount codes created in Dodo Payments may be applied during hosted checkout when eligible. AnsChat does not store your payment card information.
6.3 Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy. In summary, paid charges may qualify for a no-questions-asked refund within 48 hours if usage remains below 10% of the included monthly allocation, or within 7 calendar days if no meaningful platform resources were used after the charge. Requests outside those conditions are denied except where required by law.
6.4 Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal. Your access continues until the end of the current paid period, after which your account will revert to the applicable non-paid state.
6.5 Plan Limits
Each plan has defined usage limits (messages per month, number of bots, total website pages, storage). Message allocations reset monthly on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC. Other resource limits are enforced continuously. If you exceed your limits, the affected feature may be paused until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade your plan.
6.6 Manual or Promotional Access
From time to time, AnsChat may grant manual, promotional, beta, or support-based access outside the standard paid flow. Such access does not create an obligation to continue service indefinitely, does not create a Dodo-managed billing relationship, and may be modified or withdrawn at our discretion.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANSCHAT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING DAMAGES FROM AI ERRORS OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason.
